In Any Event: Sanford Chamber goes fashion forward

• The Greater Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the Fall Fling Fashion Show today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Route 46 Entertainment District. Models will be wearing fall fashions provided by Belks. KaDe Hair Designers have provided the models with the cuts and colors for fall styles.

Tickets will be sold at the door for $1 to win door prizes. All prize entry money will be donated to the chamber’s scholarship funds.

You could win Chanel perfume, handbags and Belk gift cards. For more information call 407-322-2212.

• Cinemaniacs, the Spiderwick Chronicles will be shown Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Park on Park. This will be the final try for the movie after rain and technical difficulties the past weekends.

• The Sanford recreation department will be having its annual Spooky Hollow Trick or Treat with the downtown merchants for kids 12 and under on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be costume contests in Magnolia Square, carnival games and surprises. For more information call 407-688-5120.

• Little Fish Huge Pond is hosting a Halloween “Bloodlust” party at 10 p.m. Come as your bloodiest ghoul, they’ll be a prize for best costume.

• The Central Florida Zoo will be hosting a Goodwill donation drive for the entire month of November, so start cleaning out those closets now. There will be a drop-off trailer in the zoo’s parking lot. There will be a sheet inside the trailer to write your information if you would want a receipt for tax purposes.
