The RIP Hunters, a paranormal investigation team, will return to Sanford in October to seek out ghosts in downtown.

Last year’s event brought almost 300 people downtown as the team investigated eight locations where they said they found a huge amount of paranormal activity.

This year the group is looking to add new locations to their search in and around downtown Sanford to give guests a different experience from last year. Anyone interested in being part of the tour should contact Mike Damsel at promaxed@yahoo.com.

The RIP Hunters are also available for private investigations in the Sanford area. For more information check out their website at RIPHunters.com or call lead investigator Mike Damsel at 407-285-7741.

This year’s 2nd Annual Ghost Tour & Investigation will take place Oct. 13 beginning at 8 p.m. Participants will meet at the Art Affair Gallery at 301 E. 1st St. and break up into teams to conduct investigations.

Afterwards, the teams will meet back at the Art Affair Gallery to discuss their findings.

Tickets for the tour can be reserved online at www.meetup.com/riphunters for a price of $10 per person. You must be 16-years-old or older to attend. There will be a limited amount of tickets so reserve early to guarantee your spot.
