Celebrate holidays at Student Museum

SANFORD — Seminole County Public School’s Student Museum will hold its annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Museum, originally Sanford High School (1902) then Sanford Grammar School (1911-1984), is located at 301 W. Seventh St., in Sanford’s beautiful historic district.

Demonstration Garden tours experts will be on hand for questions about Florida roses. An antique rose sale is also scheduled. Seminole County Public School students will provide musical entertainment and there will be activities for the children. All museum exhibit rooms will be decorated for the season and admission is free. Celebrate the holidays the Old Fashioned Way.

The Student Museum will also participate with the Sanford Historic Trust’s Holiday Tours of Homes in the Historical District of Sanford on Friday, Nov. 30 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
